Why do people always “want to come on a ”shoot”? I always wondered. But then I always rather wanted to “go on a shoot”. So when I started shooting I kind of clicked why. Shoots are fun – ok, sometimes they can be stressful (and maybe even not fun) – but most of the time they’re fun. And that’s why I’m a photographer. Because I like shooting and because its fun!
I started taking pictures at the age of 7 using a basic Kodak camera with magicube flashbulbs. At the age of 35 I still am taking pictures though now in a professional capacity and using Canon 5D camera’s and a slightly superior lighting setup consisting of Canon flashguns and Elinchrom portalite’s.
Working primarily as a Documentary Photographer, I am regularly commissioned by Commercial, Editorial and Publishing clients to shoot Portraits, Interiors and Travel imagery. I am as comfortable working in the studio as out of it though the majority of my work requires me to be on location – in the UK or abroad.
I work as a reportage and press photographer for PR Agencies and various Government Departments; I cover events for Experiential Agencies and Event Organisers.
My clients respect me for my non-invasive, relaxed style and as someone whose natural strengths lie in the composition and attention to detail that allows the viewer to “breathe”. Conscientious, trustworthy and enthusiastic my clients appraise me for my inter-personal skills and personality as much as the high quality, speed of delivery and all round customer service that I offer.

Charlie works throughout the UK and Europe. He lives in Chiswick in West London, near to Heathrow, Uxbridge, Middlesex. Being located in Hounslow allows easy access to the South West. With Central London, North London and South London all easily accessible.
